Description: Audio of an interview conducted by Delma Tomlin MBE, Director of the NCEM,  with Very Rev. Raymond Furnell,  the Dean of York, who had been instrumental in enabling the Millennium production of the Mystery Plays to be produced in York Minster.  The interview was recorded on 7 August 2002, filed as YMP/C/6.

Dean Furnell, 2000In 2015 the Very Reverend Vivienne Faull, Dean of York Minster, announced that there would be another production of the Mystery Plays in York Minster, in 2016.  Here is a link to the webpage of that production, which ran from 26 May 2016 for 41 wonderful performances.  It was followed by an exhibition in the Lady Chapel about the meaning of the Plays, see this page.
