Noah’s Ark, York Minster, 2000
art way through the 1990s, a new Dean arrived at York Minster. Interested in drama, Dean Furnell encouraged conversations suggesting that the Plays might be presented in York Minster in 2000.

This production proved to be an overwhelming success, with over 28,000 people purchasing tickets to see this remarkable Cycle in York Minster - the largest Gothic Cathedral north of the Alps. An exceptional design team was led by Director Greg Doran with Ray Stevenson taking on the role of Christ. The overall effect was truly magical.
